Umm.. Good Week, school has been relaxed... Didnt do too much... Just went swimming and tanning everyday... I went to this Bacardi Convention Last week and it was tight shit... Let's see 6000 people, (All guests of Bacardi which included Bacardi Reps, Club Owners and Invited guests), 25+ plus stands of unlimited varieties of Bacardi and a million things going on. It's been blazing hot in Vegas this week (80'F - 95'F) so where else am I gonna be but at the casino pools. There's some pictures from yesterday when we went the Hard Rock Hotel Pool. They just spent a few mill bucks redoing the whole thing.

Saturday Evan and I went over to MGM for some parties… First we checked out the all the hotties coming out of the Britney Spears.. And I’m telling you I was speechless, I’ve never seen that many hot girls in one place.

Playboy was having their 50th Anniversary party over at Studio 54 so we hit that up. We hooked up some Casino VIP tickets to the party… The place was packed with people, I’ve never seen that club that busy. Here’s some pictures… There was this Wrestler chick there too but I don’t follow it so I don’t know her name. Britney Spears was also partying it up in there too in her private area. I got pretty close to her, she actually walked right by me. She looked amazing that’s all I have to say about it.

Long Weekend... My buddies girlfriend is here from outta town and I have been trying to stay out of the room as much as possible. Giving them their 'alone time'. I bought alot of things this weekend. Let's see.. Chanel cologne Allure and Sunglasses... The sunglasses are kinda femme but I dont care cuz I'm gonna start them here. I dont like having stuff everyone else has. I also bought some more clothes from Abercrombie such as a pair of blue jeans that I'm gonna custom with a sand block. I'm gonna add some fades and rips do get a nice effect... haha

I just ordered a pair of custom Nike Shox off www.nikeid.com. They are fucking tight, all white with silver columns. I even got my personalized logo that says 'UNLV PJ'. The only shitty part is that it takes 3-4 weeks to get here.

I also bought a Fendi wallet for my Dr. Uncle overseas, it's pretty nice too. I almost bought a pair of Dolce & Gabbana Jeans from the casear's mall but I thought I spent enough money this weekend. Maybe next.

I spent alot of time with my mom cuz she was down here for her anniversary so we balled out at some nice restaurants around town.

PS... No one buy Samsung Cellphones cuz they suck ass. I've only had mine for 2 months and it's fucked. All I have to say is Nokia is the shit.

I went to my second UNLV Rebel Basketball and damn it was good.. I'm gonna go to everyone.. They put on a pretty good show.. Now I know why College ball is better than the NBA. So much stuff going on...

I met these girls Kim and Jenn and they are majoring in Dance. All they do is dance all day? Kim is from New York and Jenn is from Arizona. Their dorm is pretty close to us, over at Upper Class Complex. HHAa I really wanted to go to The Fashion Show Mall yesterday so they took us over there. I found Zara up in the place and went all out in there. I spent like $500... I gotta go back and get some shoes somewhere.

My mom and grandma are coming down here on the 12th.. She told me to book a hotel from the 12th to 17th. I cant wait... New stuff and fine dinning. I hate using my own money.. She always goes to the nice places.. plus she'll treat me extra nice cuz I'm acing all my classes. wut.

Oh yah, I sat down and investigated my laptop some more.. and its a special new Toshiba M30 model from Japan... It's way more loaded then the Canadian and American Version.

We ran over to the McDermott Complex gym to go work out about 1 hour ago.... That's probably one of the best things on this campus.. A FREE GYM... and it's pretty nice too... We didnt check the Saturday gym hours and of course it closes early on the weekends. So we decided to run around the campus. We ran by the Tomas & Mack Center to see what time the basketball game starts. There's a student services ticket booth and we got our FREE tickets.. More free stuff for full-time students.

So I stopped by that football house party and it was pretty good.. I havent been to a house party in a while but it ended early cuz the PoPo showed up.. They didnt just show up, they brought the whole damn force. I swear they were like 20 cop cars. haha. Dont believe me? Look

The music kept fucking up and everyone at the party was pissed. The guys running the party were all those black guys with the everything I do is right attitude. I told the Ernest guy to let them try and fix the stereo and if they cant fix it.. Let ME do it.. So they spent 10 minutes trying to fix it but Ernest told them all to beat it and let me do it after. Yup, 2 secs flat and the music was back on. Hhaha Running to many speakers off one amp and crossing a whole bunch of wires that shouldnt be crossed. So the Party was back on...

I bought this nice cut-off from Zara. I dont think they have Zara in the States.. And I also bought my first Abercrombie item. A pair of sandals... I've always wanted to buy something from there but there's nothing that has caught my attention. The chick section has way better style for girls.. The guy section is weak so far. Check them out...

I finally got my computer!!! Toshiba M30.. It made it from Japan to Canada.. Then Canada to Las Vegas... Check it out...

Not having a car really sucks.. This is the first time in my life since I was 16 without a car. The only good thing is that I'm staying away from The Strip and getting my school work done. Sometimes I need to get somewhere tanning salon, mall, liquor store etc and I have no fucking ride. So I gotta suck up to these geeks on my floor to give me a ride. That is one of my biggest pet peeves. But I gotta do it for a bit until everything settles down.

I've only been on this campus for about 2 weeks now and people are starting to annoy me. See, Sometimes you just dont want to be bothered and they keep knocking on my door. Tonight I learned the 'Do Not Disturb Sign'. It worked for a bit.. Some how some of the UNLV football team guys found out about my music and they want me to burn them some cds. They are throwing a huge Rebel Party tonight off campus for a pre-super bowl party or something. They asked me to burn them some cds so I said I would. They are giving me VIP to the party and no cover.. hahha Whippdy Dooo.. I save $5... I'm probably not going... And another thing those damn frat things keeping bugging me to join them or do some rush? Whatever you Americans call it.. I'm not gonna be part of those fag parades. I took some pictures of my new home... or actually small room.

Anyways this chick from My Computer class is coming to do some homework before I go out. She's 24 and works as a Bartender at the Hard Rock Hotel.

My roommate and I wanted to buy the biggest TV possibly. We really wanted a flat-wide HDTV but there is no room for it. We settled for a 32' Flat which is pretty good. We had to break some of the non-removable funiture to fit it in.. Hahaha Dont tell anyone.. Shhhh..

BOSE is here... I feel at home now.. Home Theatre is complete.. haha more than complete yayahhh... Music and Me goes together like harmony (Nate Dogg). So I got a little bit annoyed this morning. I'm taking this Management Information Systems class and this chick wanted to share books. So I was down to save money. The thing is I woke up 8am which is way too early and went to class. I got there look around and she was no where in sight. I forgot to mention that she borrowed the book last class to do some reading. I sat there with no book and its a hands-on class so I could not do anything without the book... But then it gave me a nice excuse to myself to leave and do some errands. I went to the bookstore.. yah.. I probably know more about Microsoft then the professor that is teaching the class so no worries. Just annoyed that she didnt even call to say she's not coming so I could sleep in. I'm guess she was up late cuz she works at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and there was this big function there last night.. Anyways... How was your day?

My computer is still not here... which sucks... at least I have my roommates to play with... My dad couldnt bring it on his business trip this week cuz he need his computer. The deal is that he has to leave his laptop at our Vegas house this trip so he can bring mine back next time. He cant bring two laptops on the plane or the custom agents start to ask alot of questions. I cant wait.. He's coming by this afternoon to soup up my room a little bit more. He got us a new filter for the heater so we stop breathing in garbage. I dont think the thing has been changed since the building was built. He is the renovation king... He can turn anything into a master piece. He's working on another Vegas project thats why he flys to vegas every week. He pulled some crazy shit on the US Government and his sub division of 40 giant half acres house got approved. The thing is we have the only piece of property in Nevada with no strata fees with a half acre lot size per house. He has only started a couple house and investors have already offered to buy out the whole project. He also picked up a mini alarm system for our room. Our friends think we are crazy but fuck that I dont want no skids jacking my shit. Plus we got a few toys in this bad boy that I dont wanna see go missing. Our dorm offers insurance so I think I'm gonna look into that. Anyways Im gonna go hunting for a new tanning salon... If anyone is reading this do you think the alarm system is going too far? And does anyone have any good renovation suggestions for my dorm room.

I went to Tabu at the MGM Grand last night.. We didnt stay too long cuz I was tired plus I'm not really in the party mode. I just want to get my school work done? I cant believe I just said that... Anyways... Till next time..

Been busy.. Settling in my dorm room, school, etc... The room is getting more cozy so thats good. All I have to say is I think we beat the record for largest TV in UNLV dorm rooms.. Hhahah Im gonna post a picture as soon as I get my damn Laptop in this Country.

So I'm really enjoying this American Schooling cuz it's hella easier than Canada.. well so far. All the profs are laid back and fun. I'm still waiting for my surround sound sub and amp cuz I thought I get by buying a new one. The thing is I brought the 5 Bose Acoustimass Speakers which are the most important pieces. But some guy at the electronics store said I'd blow them cuz the piece I didnt bring has a built in cross-over so I dont fry the highs. Meaning The Bose company purposely did this so you cant buy other brands kinda like how Microsoft works. You cant even buy a new box, you have to buy a whole new system which costs around $2500. Oh well just cant wait to here the complete package when it gets here.

Wow.. What an eventful week.

All I can say is that I havent seen a cloud in a week!!! I love this climate. I have officially moved to Las Vegas. I have been running around all week long getting ready for my new place. I move into my dorm tomorrow. I took a visit to see my room yesterday and it wasnt that pleasing. I can really appreciate my house in Vancouver. I have the full out King size bed, Air Conditioning, Filtered water in my shower and tap, on-suite bathroom with imported italian tiles, my bedroom set is also an italian brand mobler totaling over $50,000 easy and I moved into a Ghetto Dorm. Damn I hope I can get used to this... Sooo..to overcome this ghetto room, my roommate and I decide to hit up some local Bedroom stores. We are gonna deck out our room with nice wallpaper, lamps, bed sheet sets, surround sound stereo and home theater system, bar fridge, etc.. We have to have the nicest room... or I'm moving .. haha

I need some sleep. We went out last night to Bellagio's night club called 'The Light'. I had alot of fun, we hung out with some UNLV friends that I met on my last July visit. We also got Vip to MGM Grand's night club called 'Taboo', I know this girl Christine that works there so we headed over there around 2:30am after 'The Light'. It's a pretty fancy club where you have to be on this list to get in. It was kinda nice not having to pay or lineup or anything. It's really funny standing out front watching the bouncers hold a lineup to create a hot spot. It's all a show. blah.. blah... Anyways I had enough of typing..

so.. 3:32pm. Hopefully my last Watermania shift in Canada. I went over to the Employment Insurance Office and to ask about my insurance policy. They told me my situation follows under the no hours rule. Meaning after 7 days of not working I can apply for employment insurance. The funny thing is I created the no hours for myself but the EI office doesnt need to know that. I'm planning on collecting Insurance money for the maxium number of months I can. I think it is like 10 or something. I will be recieving 55% of my regular pay check every 2 weeks. It should be around $800 - $1500 every 2 weeks for doing nothing. That is not bad. I have planned to put this money towards getaway vacation weekends while at University. The good thing about Employment Insurance is if I come back home for the summers I can always pick up shifts. If I collect unemployment insurance I cant come back to work because to collect it I have to be laid off which I dont want. I would rather keep my all my options open. The only catch is that I cant let the EI Office know I left the Country. Therefore I will be getting double money cuz I can use my USA Identity and work in the States but I cant let Canada Side know. ehheeh I'm bad.. oh well... Take advantage of the stupid government. That's all I have to say.

This sucks. I just had the worse dream of my life. I was at the mall or something and I was visiting some friends. We were all gettin ready to leave and we headed out to the parking lot. So then I walked over to my car getting ready to open it. Then it clicked in that the car was not mine anymore and I saw one of my friends leave the mall with it. I guess cuz I sold it to a friend's friend. I officially miss my car now. It's kinda sick how I'm having nightmares about it... =( When will they go away? It's not like I have nothing to drive too.. My mom gave me her Jaguar until I leave and it's probably at least 3 or 4 times the price but it just doesnt cut it.. Yes, it's a bit more comfy and smooth.. But damn I just miss seating in my Eclipse. The feeling of driving so low to the ground with such acceleration power. And the blow-off sound when you change gears is unexplainable. I have to suck it up or I wont be able to buy my Ferrari Spider or Nissan 350 Z Convertible. So only time will tell.

Last Night I went to a hockey game with Tiffany. It was The Vancouver Canucks Vs. The San Jose Sharks. It was a good game until the last 30 secs where our own team gave the puck away for a opposing goal. I dont really like hockey, I rather watch basketball or football but they were free tickets so no loss.

Christmas Break is coming to an end. My girlfriend leaves tomorrow back to North Carolina for her Spring Term. That means I have 7 days left to get ready for my voyage to UNLV. I had a pretty good Christmas break with family and friends. I spent most of my time with my girlfriend tho. We had sushi and rented a dvd almost every night..haha.. It was fun. Renting movies were our only choice cuz of the unusually cold weather. We weren't even in the mood to club or do anything. So good old relaxing by the warm fire was enough. We'll see how long that lasts in Vegas. New years was amazing. We did some pre-drinking at Milestones Restaurant with Evan and Sandra. After that we headed down to the Canada Place Party.

I guess it's time to start packing. And yah, I dont get my laptop till after I get down to Vegas. It doesnt arrive here until the 15th meaning I have already left. My dad is gonna be bring it down the next week so I gotta wait till then. He flys down there every other week for business so it should be no problem.

So it crazy snowed here and I'm freezing... When I was driving home tonight the jag got stuck 4 times in the damn snow.. Rear Wheel Drive yah!!! What a waste.. The picture below is looking out at my backyard.

Tonight I am gonna deck out and wear my suit. I grab some tickets for this huge New Years Party Downtown. It is suppose to be a good event. Complimentary appetizers throughout the evening, fast alcohol service with 15 bars, complimentary party favors, door prizes and they even flew in a #1 DJ from Europe. The tickets were $100 each tho, hopefully it's worth it. I'm gonna take a lot of pictures.

I also stopped by the mall today to take a look around. I was looking for a nice black dressy jacket but I ended up buying a diesel shirt and some tight Pegabo dress shoes(Made in Italy). Here they are.

So it snowed yesterday..... you'd think a $80,000 2003 Jaguar S-type should be able to drive in any kind of road conditions for that price right? NO... That rear wheel drive piece couldn't even make a turn without fishtailing.. haha It was kinda of fun if I have to omit... The traction control helped a bit but not enough.. Oh well it only snows like 1-3 times a year and last for max. 2 days so whatever. I'm moving anyways...

I got alot of Christmas money this year so instead of spending it like every other year I think I'm gonna go deposit it in my bank. My laptop isn't here yet so that is kinda annoying... I want to transfer over my picture files and mp3 files onto it before I leave but it looks like I'm gonna be packing my hardrive at this rate. I went to the Mango Lounge with some friends and the boyz. It was alright.. I'll post some pictures. Oh yah, I got the new Joe CD and it's kinda tight.

Well here it is.. My new home for the next 3-4 Years... In less than 20 days I will be packing my bags and moving to my next milestone. Out of Beautiful British Columbia and Into a state of more open doors. I shouldn't say that Canada doesnt have open doors but those open doors are all taken or are in high competition. You cant get a decent job without your Masters nowadays and I'm sick of seeing my friends with the Bachelors degrees still working with me at my part-time lifeguarding job.
I got accepted to University of Nevada Las Vegas about 6 months ago and I'll be transferring all my credits over there from Langara College. I'm taking this special Bachelors of Science program that is only offered in New York, Europe and of course Las Vegas. I have to move into my dorm on January 18th and I start classes on 20th. So that will be interesting. I'm also excited to test out my new Toshiba M30 Laptop.. Well see, I have this problem where whenever I buy or do something I have to have the newest/best model out on the market. Soo I got this guy to import it for me from Japan so I hope it can satisfy my needs..

I havent wrote in a while... I had to do some catching up with my girlfriend this past week. I really missed her. It's so nice now having someone you love around again.. You can just kick back and watch a dvd not worry about any bullshit. When she is away tho, I always get really annoyed with all these girls that think they are HOT shit. I say Hi, how are you.. Meet some new friends/girls and for some reason they think I wanna go out with them blah blah blah. I cant just be a friend?... The worse part is they think they are better than the world and that I need to provide to them that I'm worthy enough to talk/hangout with them. Forget that shit... Yesterday I had an okay day... I was suppose to go shopping with my mom but she wasnt feeling well.. so that sucked.. I have been going mad shopping with my extra $$$ cuz I sold my car... It was pretty sick how I couldnt even sleep properly for over a week after it was gone.. HHaha it was kinda like a girlfriend when you break up.. The reason I had to sell it was because I'm transfering to University of Nevada Las Vegas in Jan. I'm living on campus so I dont really need a car.. Well see what happens.. Plus I got freakin $28,000 for it so that is damn good. We dont have Mitsubishi Turbo Eclipse's in Canada so I had no problem selling it.. I didnt even need to advertise it... My grad persent is car of choice so I want a new Ferrari Spider so whatever the Eclipse is gone.. I gotta sacrifice for a while for the better. Here's a picture of my x-baby...

So last nite a friend from school Nikki and I randomly went to the movies.. I havent seen a really good movie in a while they were all pretty much cheese.. I really like watching quality movies and I finally came across one.. We watched The Last Samurai and it was goooood.. I think I could put it in the Top 20 movies I've seen.. maybe?

Grand Opening!

Today Dec 15, 2003 is the Grand Opening of my live journal.

So anyways I had a great night. One of my good friends got married, they had a beautiful wedding at the Cecil Green House. I wish Frank and Dawn The Best! My friend Nathan did a great solo performance of the song 'Best Man' where he hit all the right notes. Also, out of all the weddings I have been to in my life I have never seen someone officiate a wedding with such strong energy as Derrick did that night. He was the pastor for Frank's Wedding and I would love him to do my wedding in 6-8+ years...

My girlfriend comes back in 3 days so I'm really excited... I havent seen her in months. We have been going out for like 4 years and she has Christmas break on the 18th of December.. For all you that dont know my girlfriend.. She goes to University of North Carolina. She started there a year ago and she is majoring in communications. We do the 'long-distance' relationship thing which is kinda hard because we hardly see each other... We talk 2-3 times a day and visit each here and there. She comes back for the whole summer which is 4 months so it is not that bad. It just means that the time we spend together we can cherish it more. Fate is what brought us together, therefore fate will determine our destiny. Here are some recent pictures of here..
